Berg Cottage

Berg Cottage was built in 1929 from stones hewn from the mountain that this historic cottage nestles against. Constructed by a "bywoner" in 1929 in order to qualify for the the hand of a local farmer's daughter, this self-catering cottage sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms and retains the character and simplicity of that era, while incorporating the comforts of today. The cottage and huge garden are pet-friendly and withing easy walking distance of town and the surrounding hikes and rambles.

Berg Cottage is an inexpensive option for those wishing to just chill in and around the village, or as a stop off point for trips into Lesotho. Berg Cottage fulfils a need for those who enjoy outdoor pursuits, but like some comfort at the end of a day's exercise. It does not offer expensive luxury but all that you need for quiet country comfort.
